According to Italian football journalist David Russo de Cemare.

If so it would give us our 4th genuine experienced centre back with five if you include Grounds as cover. Nice balance of left and right too as SB is left sided.

We do need a left sided centre back and even a past his best buy date Bassong would be a better choice than the very limited Grounds

he is only 31 - how is that past his best ?

You dont know much money he was on at norwich considering he got relegated with em, same with the rest of the free transfers, the defensive holding midfielder released by sunderland (kirchoff) was on a good £40k a week and he is only 26

It doesn't matter what he was on at Norwich. He's now on £0k per week.

If he signs I can see Robbo moving on. He wants to play as much as he can at his age and he'll be so far down the pecking order that he'll have to go elsewhere. If he does, good luck to him. He's been fantastic for us, but this may be a season too far.

He wants to be a coach. Sticking around Birmingham will be a brilliant experience, even if he's does not play.

Unless he retires he's going nowhere surely because his registration is with BCFC until January 1st

Robbo has been working with the youth development program. I think that can be only good for the club. He has been a great servant to us. I think we need him in the dressing room. He knows this league. Hope he stays in some capacity after his contract runs out.

I guess HR must still be considering the option.

There's no rush. He's got to prove to Harry that he's worth taking on.

Norwich let him along with a number of players they signed during the prem as they were earning huge wages

I guess what we're offering is far less than his Norwich salary. But that's 'as was'. He's now on £0k.

I wouldn't offer more than 10k a week

I think £10k is way below his value to any team. £20-30 would be more realistic.

if he ain't getting a club maybe a week by week contract whilst he proves himself - we have enough cover now its just if adds any quality to the squad.

He's on 0 a week so I'm sure he'd sign 10k a week to just be cover

Same age as Rooney do you think Rooney is as good as was?

My point is even at 31 he is more than capable of doing a decent job for us even if he is not as good as was.
